Brooke explores the complexities of darkness and light within people through her self-portrait photography, drawing inspiration from a childhood filled with imagination and fear. After studying film in college, she discovered her passion for storytelling and began to create in solitude, often focusing on themes of death and rebirth or beauty and decay. Her process is more about discovery than creation, as she follows her curiosity to see who her characters might become. Ultimately, while her art reflects her personal journey, her greatest aspiration is to reveal a part of the viewer's own self, seeing art as a mirror for both creator and observer.
