Endia Beal

A North Carolina-based artist, curator and author whose work merges fine arts with social justice, Endia Beal uses photography and video to reveal often overlooked and unappreciated experiences unique to people of color. Beal’s work has appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post and National Geographic, as well as TIME Magazine and Newsweek. Her work has been exhibited in several institutions including the Nasher Museum of Art at Duke University in Durham, NC; the New Orleans Museum of Art in New Orleans, LA, and Aperture Foundation in New York, NY.
