David is a New York City-based photographer specializing in alternative culture. David has become a sought-after speaker on matters of contemporary photography as well as technical teaching. David has taught at the International Center of Photography, The Maine Media Workshops and nationwide industry conventions as well as contributing to Composition – Beyond the Snapshot, among others. David founded the B&H Event Space and currently is the director of large-scale events at B&H Photo, running both the OPTIC and Depth of Field conferences.
